What could be better than a community working to help their own? A Whitmore Lake community effort is going on to supply Thanksgiving dinners to families in our area who otherwise might not be able to celebrate with a full dinner. They would like to ask for your help with donations. Items needed are: turkeys, vegetables, potatoes (white and/or sweet), rolls, fruits (canned), stuffing mix and desserts (non-parishable).
Several drop off stations are available for your donations. They are:
FAMILY VIDEO, 22 Barker Road: Mon - Sat 11am - 10 pm
NORTHFIELD TWP. POLICE DEPT. LOBBY, 8350 Main St.: Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm
WESLEY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 9318 Main St.: Nov. 3, 10, 17 10am - 1pm; Mon, Wed, Thurs 10am - 6pm
